Anna Lindh, another one of Swedens foreign ministers became famous only because somebody shot her in a department store in central Stockholm.Whilst she was in power her foreign ministry provided funds for a book called Inshallah to be written. This book seems to serve as the basis for the Aftonbladet article. Could this be yet another case of brown nosing by the Swedish foreign ministry ?

This article is revivalist racist propaganda typical of Der Sturmer, the infamous Nazi racist newspaper. Fast forward to Sweden 2009 and once again the gutter press is reviving anti Jewish racist propaganda. One has to wonder why Swedish troops are fighting to prop up a regime which has recently passed laws such as these, which many regard as being " worse than the Taliban " Surely this is not what the women of Sweden want to pay their taxes for ? " President Karzai of Afghanistan provoked international outrage yesterday with draconian Taleban-era restrictions on women and laws that explicitly sanction marital rape. How come Carl Bildt, Mona Salin, Donald Boström and the rest of the crew are so quiet about these abuses and how come Sweden is sending fighting troops to uphold these laws ? LO:s ordförande Wanja Lundby-Wedin should surely be concerned, both about her organization owning a newspaper so similar to Der Sturmer and also about the new laws in Afghanistan.It would surely be hypocritical to support rape in Afghanistan when she herself enjoys all the freedoms won for women in Sweden.

The latest round of Hamas instigated fighting in the Middle East certainly brought the usual torrent of anti Israeli - anti Jewish sentiment to the fore in Sweden. The usual gaggle of " artists " signed declarations and blamed Israel for all manner of things. Of course, they were all very quiet whilst Hamas was rocketing Israel, terrorizing Christians and shooting Fatah members in their knee caps. It seems as if the doe eyed staged photo sessions from Gaza always find a ready audience in Sweden. The poor Swedes are in fact running scared of their growing Muslim minority and are far too cowardly to face up to the reality of their changing society. The Swedes seem to love supporting the underdog. Sometimes one has to wonder if even this is inverted racism. By identifying an underdog one immediately feels just that one step higher and can ooze pity and understanding for this " lower " being. It seems to smack of hypocracy. In any case, it doesn,t take much for the Swedes to dust off their old anti Jewish feelings and rebrand them as being anti Israeli.

The BBC would appear to have an agenda. The once trusted news service has become a media weapon of war directed against Israel. Here is yet another rocket attack by Hamas which the BBC has strangely " missed ". Perhaps the BBC is guilty of war crimes ? The media is a very powerful weapon of war and misuse of this weapon,concerning war reporting, should perhaps be a war crime.In any case the BBC has payed for the Balen report but has spent more than $300,000 on a cover up. Sweden, famous for promoting human rights and in particular womens rights might want to send Bildt to Saudi Arabia. The interior minister who is also 2nd in line to the throne has been promoted.He sees no need for female representation in parliament.Surely the president of the EU would want to tackle this during his term.Perhaps he will make a stand for the victims of genocide in Sudan - Darfur ? The Arabs seem to be ignoring this genocide but surely Bildt could take a stand whilst hundreds of thousands are dying.Perhaps he might decide it is easier to join the mob throwing stones at the only democracy in the Middle East instead.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry responded harshly on Saturday to Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt's refusal to condemn a Swedish newspaper article which claimed that the IDF harvested Palestinian organs.
"It seems that the use of the term 'free speech' is a comfortable excuse for the Swedish government to do nothing," a Foreign Ministry statement read.
Bildt said in a blog posted late Thursday that he would not condemn the Aftonbladet article, as freedom of expression is part of the Swedish constitution.
"The general public in Israel, and in Europe, expects that a nation which holds such a senior position as the presidency of the European Union would say, courageously and directly, that anti-Semitism is despicable and should be condemned," the statement went on, "not only when it comes from Teheran, but also from Stockholm."
If the press is so free in Sweden that lies can be printed and the foreign ministry will jump to the defence of the liars then it is best that I raise the possibility that Bildt is an anti Jewish racist . Probably he dislikes Muslims as much as he dislikes Jews but the Muslims have got him by his testicles as he needs their votes.
Cowardice and a lack of backbone are traditional Swedish values so Bildt is treading a well worn path.
Carl Bildt deserves another special mention. He was amazingly quiet whilst Hamas was killing and terrorizing Israeli civilians by firing rockets at civilian targets. in Israel. He has been very quiet about the persecution of Christians and Fatah members inside the Strip. He has been amazingly vocal throughout his career to condemn Israel whilst it protects its citizens. No Mr.Bildt, I wouldn,t ask you to be a referee at any football match I was organizing, as your subjectivity might spoil everyones enjoyment. Perhaps, when Bildt has the time, he might want to follow up on this problem and indeed assist the 850,000 Jews who lost property in Arab countries. So far there has been complete silence from Bildt on this matter, he only seems to have time for claims and accusations against Israel.

Sweden, conveniently located close to Russia and bankrupt Iceland, the poor neighbour of both Norway and Denmark, surely Sweden needs better than Bildt to run foreign affairs ? He is certainly not welcome in Sri Lanka, they won,t even give him a visa to enter the country. He has introduced,what appears to be, his very personal dislike of Israel, into his own personal foreign policy, somewhat like a newly arrived crusader. He seems to be running an anti Israeli floor show, turning up worldwide parroting anti Israeli diatribe at every opportunity. Perhaps he relies on the BBC for his news ? That can be very damaging. Expect to see him cosy up to Turkey during his term as EU supremo later during 2009. Perhaps someone should tell him about domestic violence in Turkey. He might well speed up the coming of Eurostan
Interestingly Bildt is completely out of step with the people he has up until now so supported. It seems as if his desire to show Israel in a bad light is stronger than his desire to solve the actual conflict. How sad when the foreign policy of a country is " kidnapped " and becomes the foreign policy of a man with a mission instead of a foreign policy to serve the interests of the wider world community.
